The company developed the battery passport used for the Volvo EX90, providing traceability and carbon-footprint data linked to individual production vehicles.
The same infrastructure supports circular manufacturing by documenting when recycled materials re-enter a supply chain. Tracking recovered materials from recycling through subsequent production gives manufacturers evidence of material origin, recycled-content volumes and chain of custody. These records can support regulatory reporting, customer requirements and more complete lifecycle data as materials move through multiple uses.
