Components Source Network encourages a spirit of community, diversity, depth and perspective across the industries we serve. Industrial Sustainability Monthly welcomes participating e-marketplace Featured Expert companies to submit nominations for our publication’s Editorial Board. Our all-volunteer, pro bono board brings together knowledgeable experts who enjoy sharing ideas and expertise, helping our readers make sense of the latest industry news, insights and trends.
WHO CAN BE NOMINATED?
Featured Expert companies may nominate any number of team members with demonstrated industry expertise in sustainable manufacturing, industrial energy efficiency and electrification, renewable energy and energy storage, carbon capture and emissions reduction, advanced materials and clean chemical technologies, circular economy solutions, recycling and resource recovery, water and wastewater treatment, environmental monitoring, supply chain traceability or related fields. Prior publication experience is helpful, though not necessary.
Editorial Board members serve as designated representatives of their nominating Featured Expert companies. Their board affiliation reflects that company relationship throughout their term.
WHAT IS THE ASK?
Depending on expertise and availability, Editorial Board responsibilities may include:
- Suggesting story ideas, emerging technologies and applications that matter to readers.
- Reviewing selected submissions for technical accuracy, relevance and practical value.
- Introducing us to small businesses and industry experts whose work deserves wider attention.
- Contributing bylined articles or commentary within their areas of expertise.
- Sharing reader perspectives and helping us strengthen our coverage.
WHY JOIN?
Editorial Board service offers a meaningful way to share knowledge, connect with industry peers and contribute to technically informed coverage. Members can help bring greater visibility to small businesses and offer perspectives that deepen readers’ understanding of the technologies shaping our industry. Bylined contributions are also welcome, subject to editorial review and acceptance.
All Editorial Board members and their nominating companies will be formally announced and recognized on our website, with visibility across a growing Components Source Network audience of more than 45,000 monthly readers worldwide.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
We understand that Editorial Board members have busy professional and personal schedules. Members serve in a volunteer advisory capacity for a twelve (12) month term and are asked to attend quarterly virtual meetings. Contributions and review requests are coordinated around relevant expertise and availability, with scope and timing discussed in advance.
Members are asked to keep all editorial communications and unpublished submissions confidential. They are also expected to proactively identify and disclose relevant commercial relationships and potential or actual conflicts of interest.
While Featured Expert participation allows a company to nominate team members for consideration, final appointment decisions are based on current publication needs, skill sets and editorial priorities. Participation does not guarantee appointment or publication. All appointments and publication decisions remain at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
Company-designated nominees who are not selected are welcome to reapply as publication needs and board opportunities evolve, provided their nominating companies remain Featured Experts on our sites.
