Netmore Group, global industry experts in Massive IoT network infrastructure and carrier-grade LoRaWAN connectivity solutions, has announced a strategic collaboration with Green Frog Asset Management and Sensational Systems to deliver end-to-end smart gas metering solutions designed to provide real-time data, improved asset management, and greater operational efficiency for utility customers across the United Kingdom.

The collaboration combines Netmore’s carrier-grade LoRaWAN network infrastructure and Massive IoT platform capabilities with Green Frog Asset Management’s utility metering expertise and Sensational Systems’ IoT consultancy and platform integration services. The companies stated that the initiative is intended to support utility-grade deployments capable of operating across demanding industrial and commercial environments.

Netmore Group, Green Frog Asset Management, and Sensational Systems are collaborating on an AI-driven smart gas metering solution for industrial and commercial utility applications.

According to the companies, Green Frog Asset Management selected LoRaWAN technology and partnered with Netmore based on the technology’s performance in utility-grade deployments and Netmore’s established carrier-grade network coverage across the UK. Sensational Systems provided a complete enablement layer for the project, including advising on optimal device selection for utility monitoring applications, developing underlying configuration profiles, and delivering application capabilities intended to support deployment and service integration.

The resulting fully managed solution is designed to collect utility data from some of the UK’s most challenging operating environments. Green Frog Asset Management’s analytics platform aggregates and processes consumption data across customer portfolios, enabling near real-time visibility into energy usage, associated operational costs, and carbon emissions.

The deployment also incorporates AI-driven data validation and health-checking functionality designed to continuously monitor incoming meter data and identify anomalies, gaps, or inconsistencies that could contribute to inaccurate billing or operational inefficiencies. The companies stated that the system is intended to help organizations transition from reactive utility monitoring toward more proactive energy management strategies supported by accurate operational insight.

“LoRaWAN is positioned to power a substantial portion of the next wave of gas utility transformation, particularly in Europe where the open-standard, low-cost, long-battery-life profile fits the economics of gas meter deployments extremely well,” said Vadim Lyu, Managing Director UK of Netmore. “We look forward to generating new business opportunities with Green Frog Asset Management and Sensational Systems through this important collaboration.”

“Our customers need energy data they can trust — from every meter, in every location, regardless of how challenging the environment and Netmore and Sensational Systems have enabled us to do that at scale,” said Christian Crackle, Technical Director of Green Frog Asset Management. “Combined with our analytics platform and AI-driven data validation, we can now offer utilities an end-to-end energy intelligence solution, moving them from reactive billing to proactive, data-driven energy management.”

“Large-scale IoT deployments succeed or fail on the quality of their foundations — the right devices, correctly configured, on a network that performs. Our role in this partnership has been to ensure that every element of the technology stack is production-ready before it reaches the field,” said Al Bennett, Director of Sensational Systems. “By combining deep LoRaWAN device expertise with streamlined deployment support, we have helped both Netmore and Green Frog Asset Management reduce operational friction and get to value faster.”

The companies showcased their collaboration during All Energy Expo 2026 at the SEC in Glasgow, Scotland, May 13–14. The event focuses on low-carbon energy technologies, renewable energy systems, and industrial sustainability initiatives.  This announcement reflects the growing adoption of LoRaWAN-based utility infrastructure for industrial monitoring applications where low-power connectivity, long device life, scalable remote data collection, and sustainability-focused operational intelligence are increasingly important.
